r/PlaceNL: the return

The population model went back to the coder who knew r/PlaceNL. Its answer about the canal houses came beside corrections from other communities that revised the model's account of repair; the aggregator then accepted it as a specification of the revised claim.

The objection

The ruling

The aggregator accepted the line, and later re-ruled it once P05 had been revised.

Line PlaceNL-012 restrict P02: A publicly proposed redesign does not become executable until protective automation and its controllers permit the new pixels.

Ruling accepted as a correction: the addition was settled and the community's own upkeep erased it, a condition P02 does not state

Line PlaceNL-016 link, scripts inhibit P02: Protection scripts erase intended houses, making the capacity to maintain the old design an obstacle to implementing the new one.

Ruling accepted, then re-ruled as a specification: a planned change repaired away until the keepers are told is P05's clause, so the link sits in the model

This is what composition adds: a local difficulty becomes a shared explanation, and further cases show where it needs qualification. In six communities, keepers recognized the new shape without being told; the run recorded that as a limit of the revision.

In detail

Everything the run recorded for this part; each folded section says what it holds.

The model goes back to r/PlaceNL

The coder's lines and the aggregator's rulings below are their own words, with the site's terms in place of theirs: community for room, artwork for mark, population model for global model. They call a subreddit a sub.

At the return (D2), r/PlaceNL's community coder was resumed from its saved session at the close of coding, not from its local model (R6), and the re-check (D3) continued the same session.

At stage D2 the population model went back to r/PlaceNL’s community coder (gpt-6.1-sol), who answered it unit by unit: an element or arrow holds as stated, holds only under a condition, is absent, or needs a step, a condition, a link or a new element. The aggregator ruled on every line. At D3 the revised model went back and the community coder answered again.

Repair and change

The first population model said communities keep their work by repairing changed pixels. Returning that model to the community coders exposed a problem: repair could also undo a change the community wanted.

r/PlaceNL members planned blue canal houses and a windmill on their flag. Yet their own defense script erased the houses. One member asked who would turn it off: "the little houses are all being wiped away" (our translation). The plan is recorded in post 636e4q, code c0105; the erasure in comment dfrvgvk, code c0162.

r/PlaceNL's return linked design to upkeep. Its line PlaceNL-016 first counted as an elaboration. Corrections from OnePiece and leagueoflegends, supported by monsterhunter and portugal, formally triggered the revision of P05, the model's account of repair. The aggregator's search found the same mechanism in accepted P05 lines from 67 communities. The revised claim was that repair restores the form the keepers know: an agreed change can be erased as damage until they are told about it. r/PlaceNL's line was then accepted as a specification of that revision.

The re-check exposed a limit. In six communities, keepers recognized the new shape without being told; in three, informed members kept the change in place despite uninformed keepers. The run kept the model version the communities had seen and recorded this scope limit as F-024. A wider wording stayed a proposal, untested by those communities.

This example shows what composition adds: a local difficulty becomes a shared explanation, and further cases reveal where it needs qualification. The decision table below keeps r/PlaceNL's other comments, including a correction left unresolved.

The model said members dispute who may commit the community after it makes a deal. Here the dispute came with no deal: a visitor asked “You may surround us with blue but please let us stay” (6368zq, H67:49), and a member answered that “the organized people” were willing, “but there are many dutch /r/place users that aren’t in our discord” (dfrofwc, H69:09).Accepted as a correction (D3a-27), met in other communities (r/FloydVsVoid, r/adventuretime); 36 such corrections reopened the arrow.A21 bounded: it holds where a deal came first (114 communities), and names where members state the limit at the making of terms (36 communities) or with no deal in force (13 communities).

Invitation, application, conditional offer, acceptance and referral are separate steps: “Apply here to have a place assigned to your art”, then r/GreyBlob’s “we will help defend you guys as long as the greyblob can live” (H72:21).Accepted as a specification: P19 already names the request, the ruling and the dispute.P19, a guest’s work under a host’s rule, re-admitted as standing on the communities’ own lines (D3a-53).

Protection scripts erase the canal houses the community had agreed to add: “De huisjes worden allemaal weggepoetst” [the little houses are all being wiped away], dfrvgvk, H71:40.Accepted as an elaboration, then re-ruled as a specification once P05 was revised (D3a-11).Held by P05’s new clause: a planned change is repaired away as damage until the keepers are told. The revision itself came from four other communities.

“Absoluut niet, er is de gehele dag al gewerkt aan samenwerking” [absolutely not, people have worked all day on cooperation], the refusal to attack Goodboye.Quoted by the aggregator from the coding, before the return.A17’s mechanism (an attack call met by a truce) cites it as the community speaking for itself.
First return, model of 15 OctoberComposes with residue

Both readers: the community’s calls, design, upkeep, deals, scripts and close restate in the model’s terms, but moving live planning into Discord (t02), giving orange space to displaced groups (t09) and the flag as a guide for newcomers carry organizing the model lacked.

Re-check, revised model of 24 OctoberComposes

The readers split. One held out the history rap, “The mods couldn’t control, the masses’ power. They all went left and poor Greece was devoured” (c0168). The aggregator ruled that P21, the limit on who commits the community, and P07, the community reining in its own attackers, already state it.

Left open. The community coder corrected P02, settling the design, twice: an announced redesign cannot be carried out while the community’s own defence scripts erase it and the one member allowed to change their target is away (PlaceNL-012, repeated at the re-check). The aggregator accepted it as a correction, paired with r/portugal, and never revised P02.
