r/czech | R6: standalone local model
Reading copy of text saved at this checkpoint. Reading it creates no interview and sends no model call. These pages contain selected narrative files from the saved workspace.
Catalogue title: r/czech: 6.1 local model, R6. Checkpoint: community--czech--R6. Interview and provenance.
Participant handles in these reading copies use the pixel stream's identifiers: base64(SHA1(username)), case preserved, without a salt. These are linkable pseudonyms. Profile links are removed; missing-author markers remain. Original research files are unchanged. Quote offsets refer to original text. Source and reading-copy hashes are listed separately.
Source commit: c070d990be88, 2026-10-23T12:38:38+02:00. Saved-state date: not recorded. Not recorded in the catalogue; source commit date is not a close date. Commit date and saved-state date are distinct.
Original GitHub files and additional saved-state files are identified separately in the manifest. Original files were verified against their recorded hashes before participant identifiers were substituted for display. Native restore verification does not certify scientific closure.
Suggested starting file: account.md. Then inspect the model, evidence and notes below. This order is a reading aid; it does not change the research record.

Chronology
When the canvas opened, r/czech's openings still mixed ordinary
visitor questions and entertainment with no event-wide thread. The event
first becomes visible at d0 03-31 20:26 in 62nvbl: “For the
glory of our country. Fight for our flag against the infidels.
/r/place.” Three minutes later, dfnzcvf explains the game
and asks that “we all took care of it against griefers.” The first
episode, bounded by 62nvbl and dfq2s7m, grows
from joining and overnight repair into borders, wedge geometry, beer,
words and choices about neighboring work. Its coordination is loose
rather than absent: dfoysvh specifies that “the slope
should be 2/3” and later thanks people when it looks better, while other
passages say helpers are using incompatible plans.
At d1 04-02 08:43, the episode bounded by 62yo19 and
dfqn62t concentrates planning in one large flag-plan
thread. Participants choose between easy and correct wedges, finite
borders and expansion, and invading or sparing neighbors. These are
contemporaneous differences, not evidence that the community changed its
mind. One edited turn, dfq1ppr, reverses its own
proposal—“Edit: do not invade. The guys are cool.”—but that supports a
change by that speaker only. Plans also become recognizable Czech
additions: beer, CZECH, hearts, a motto and a Prague
image.
From 62z23h through dfrogj6, expansion
repeatedly brings Czech participants into exchange with smaller pictures
and other flags. The Bratislava–Brno motorway becomes D2 and the
Czechoslovak highway; Mindcrack, a mushroom/gameboy project, Armenia,
Texas, the Netherlands, Slovakia and Norway are variously treated as
obstacles, allies or parties to bargains. Participants sometimes stop or
redirect expansion after replies and checks. The record also shows
automated defense: dfr4ype says “many people here just
running selfrepairing bots over night” and reports three on the Czech
flag. This is a participant's account of human-operated automation, not
machine-generated text treated as conduct.
A Czech–Dutch friendship-art sequence crosses the slice boundary.
63249i proposes “Pat & Mat / Buurman & Buurman — to
celebrate the Czech-Dutch friendship”; 11 hours 55 minutes 20 seconds
later, 635iwj posts “To celebrate our friendship in
r/place!” and the following comments work on the design through
dfrpn72. [crosses 01|02] The timing comes from the forest
index. Because the later post does not say that the earlier post caused
it, this is a supported continuation in subject and practice, not a
causal claim.
At d2 04-03 12:50, moderator 636ju3 opens a megathread
“To keep this sub civil and organised.” The episode bounded by
636ju3 and dfrxt9j centralizes late proposals:
three standalone design threads receive the same moderator direction
that r/place submissions “are only allowed here,” first at
dfruzwd 2 hours 40 minutes 45 seconds after the megathread
opened, and later at dfrxsxq and dfrxt9j.
Inside the megathread, participants repair D2, discuss hearts and Czech
symbols, and carry Dutch ideas back into the room.
Placement had ended by the episode bounded by 638c1g and
639a46. At d3 04-03 17:38, 638c1g says
“/r/place has ended, good job everyone!” Posts and comments then
exchange ending pictures, thanks, neighborly affection and a Dutch
anthem. The record does not establish unanimous understanding:
dfs9dn0 still says, “I still don't know what that was all
about.”
The last event-related episode, bounded by 63bg75 and
dftj5z3, tries to continue elsewhere. 63bg75
asks who wants to make a Czech flag on a “Place knockoff” and edits in a
claim that Place 2.0 is the “official replacement.” Replies call it the
fourth copy (dft27fr) and say repetition is “pointless”
(dft7dpn), while the original poster later reports, “I've
already managed to paint whole flag there” (dftj5z3). This
is one participant's reported continuation; the record does not show the
room adopting the replacement. Ordinary news, humor and
film-identification posts continue after it.
Relations — what set off what
Several relations have textual support stronger than reply adjacency.
Mindcrack's dfq317t asks, “Please don't take us over” and
requests expansion to the left. Seven minutes 16 seconds later, direct
reply dfq35ef says, “I think we should let the G alone.”
Here the later turn answers the earlier request; it is not inferred
merely from order.
The Slovak appeal in dfq7xq2 says, “Help us brothers.
You are our only hope!” Direct reply dfq8jlx answers that
D2 is finished and “our troops will be there shortly.” This supports a
request-and-answer relation. It does not establish whether the promised
help succeeded.
In the neighboring-art dispute, dfq6pqx says a
seven-minute timelapse check convinced the speaker that the complaint
might be right, followed by “I won't encroach on your stuff anymore. My
apologies.” That is the participant's own explanation for stopping. It
supports the link for this speaker; it does not prove that the check
changed everyone else's placements.
The Dutch attack warning and reversal provide the clearest supported
development. dfqlpvd says, “The Dutch are likely planning
to attack us. We need reinforcements!” Twenty-six minutes later,
dfqmvec edits its proposed diversionary attack to: “they're
not attacking, I'll stop my ferocious counterattacks.” At 51 minutes 27
seconds after the warning, direct reply dfqo0j5 says,
“We've put it to a vote. We will coexist peacefully with you.” The edit
explicitly links new information to that speaker stopping; the
contrasting claims by other speakers do not, by themselves, show that
the community collectively changed its mind.
Moderation also produces direct responses: the rule in
636ju3 is subsequently named by dfruzwd,
dfrxsxq and dfrxt9j when each standalone
proposal is redirected. After the end, Dutch thanks in
dfs4sri—“thank you guys for being good neighbours even
though we were kinda dickish”—receives the direct answer “I am very
happy with how everything turned out” in dfs5b22 9 minutes
51 seconds later.
One tempting cross-slice link is deliberately weaker. The Pat &
Mat proposal 63249i is followed 11 hours 55 minutes 20
seconds later by friendship-design work in 635iwj, but
neither cited title states that the first caused the second. It is
therefore reported as a sequence that crosses 01|02, not as a causal
relation. [crosses 01|02]
Posts against comments
Posts make categorical calls; comments usually expose the conditions
and disagreement underneath. The post 631d37 says, “Let is
be us for once who invades! Texas shall fall.” Its comments say “Please
don't” because a Texan has defended both flags (dfqjghw)
and that participants had “already agreed to a truce”
(dfqjh70). The descriptive contrast is that the post calls
for invasion while the comment layer invokes reciprocity and a prior
agreement; it does not show a settled community-wide reversal.
The sharpest contradiction is 6365ry. Its post offers
help because “Your flag is blocking our flag.” Comment
dfrlo1c calls the Dutch flag “fucking gigantic” and the
proposal “greedy,” while dfrm5uh separates the Netherlands
from a “rogue asshole.” Thus the post presents relocation as help; the
comments present the same proposal as dispossession by one actor and
deny that it represents the allied group.
Some practices live mainly in comments: exact wedge slopes, refresh
instructions, which work may move, whether a truce holds, and how to
distinguish organized allies from rogues. Short posts more often propose
visible objects or issue alarms. The megathread differs because its post
states the moderator's rule and its rationale, while comment replies
enforce it on later submissions. After the ending post's “good job”
(638c1g), most comments celebrate or correct the image, but
dfs9dn0 remains confused; that contrast limits claims of
shared understanding, not the observable celebration.
Counter-reading
My one-sentence reading is: r/czech turned a growing Czech flag into loosely coordinated repair, recognizable pictures and reciprocal neighbor work, using pacts and off-subreddit contact to manage recurring conflict before centralizing late proposals and celebrating the result.
If that reading were wrong, the record would instead contain Czech participants broadly rejecting the Dutch alliance, naming Dutch plans as a takeover, or refusing shared projects rather than distinguishing would-be annexers and rogues from organized allies.
Before searching I recorded that competing account, then searched the
complete record for the case's own contrary vocabulary:
no truce, gigantic, greedy, forms
of annex, rogue elements or
rogue asshole, and Dutch attack. The search
returned 13 items, and all 13 were opened with the reading tool. The
strongest contrary item is dfrlo1c: “Your flag is fucking
gigantic ... Stop being so greedy.” dfrl6lk also says it
“seems like there is no truce” and fears the Czech flag will be
gone.
Those items change the account by making the Dutch relationship
visibly contested and asymmetrical: cooperation never erased fear of
being crowded out. They do not replace the account with wholesale
rejection. In the same search return, dfrkf94 says
“Dutchies are trying to protect your flag against rogue elements”;
dfqo8j5 says some people want annexation while “everyone
else” will try to prevent it; and dfqocjt similarly says
most will prevent an attack. Three previously uncoded returned passages
became late codes c0293, c0294 and
c0295, attached to the existing invasion and pact themes.
No searched thread changed disposition.
Saturation
Record saturation is strong for the supplied archive but limited for the historical event. The two fleet coders read every one of their whole-thread slices and disposed all 85 threads; the lead then read all pooled codes, both slice cases, the forest, and every counter-search hit. No single reader held the whole raw week, so cross-slice relations are weaker than a one-reader account and are marked where used. Fifty-two deleted or removed items, including 21 posts with missing bodies, can hide rationales for proposals and diplomacy. One in-window reply lacks its parent.
Off-subreddit coordination is both conduct and an evidence boundary. Czech and Dutch Discords carried planning and diplomacy; Reddit receives plans, warnings and reported vote results, but not the discussions that produced them. Place 2.0 similarly returns a reported painted flag without showing its coordination.
Practice saturation was late rather than early. Fourteen themes were already founded in batch 01 and batch 02 extended them, including flag design, pacts, bot use, neighboring-space negotiation and celebration. Batch 02 introduced one genuinely new practice—marking the end and looking back—because placement ended within that slice. No later slice exists to test whether post-event practice would repeat. The Place 2.0 attempt remains a thin continuation rather than evidence of a settled new collective project.
Selection
The lead read the briefing and all 85 opening entries before the gate, using them only to locate the week's shape. Branch B then assigned whole threads in corpus order: batch 01 covered 62 threads and batch 02 covered 23. Each coder opened every event-touching long thread in full and recorded every disposition. Threads were kept for r/place conduct, responses and aftermath, recruited ordinary practices, or attempts to continue the event; ordinary travel, law, food, entertainment and the separate Mapy.cz April Fools map were excluded. Openings were orientation rather than evidence, and the lead did not read raw threads until step 5's permitted item reads.
Other communities named
The named places form working relationships rather than a mere list.
dfq317t brings r/Mindcrack into a negotiation over
expansion; Russia is both a proposed target and a source of reciprocal
non-encroachment; Armenia and Texas ask for or provide defense; and
r/Slovakia is treated as a brother and ally through D2, the Czechoslovak
highway and defense appeals such as dfq7xq2. r/gameboy
begins as neighboring work that some want moved or erased and becomes
work Czech participants promise to build or defend.
The Netherlands is the sustained counterpart: r/cirkeltrek, r/thenetherlands and Dutch Discord participants appear as diplomats, planners, potential annexers and defenders. The record supports variation inside that relation rather than treating every Dutch speaker as one actor. Other named subreddits—r/europe, r/PuertoRico, r/Turkey, r/shawnhate, r/me_irl, r/ainbowroad, r/OutOfTheLoop, r/ShawnHate, r/stevenuniverse and r/thebutton—appear as helpers, attackers, damaged work, explanatory links or comparisons, as recorded in the pointer file.
Coordination visibly leaves Reddit for a Czechoslovak Place Discord
and Dutch Place Discords, while plans and diplomatic reports return.
r/placecz is created for related coordination but the corpus does not
show uptake. The final 63bg75 link moves activity to
place.dynastic.co; what returns is one participant's report of a
completed flag, not the unseen process.
Absence
Deleted and removed bodies are concentrated among proposals, warnings and inter-community approaches. Surviving titles show calls for pacts, help, beer, mottos, a Discord and border hearts, while replies sometimes show reactions; neither licenses reconstruction of the missing wording. In particular, the repeated “Kolache Alliance” titles and the removed r/MenOnKazoo and Slovakia/Norway openings preserve that an approach occurred but not its full request or result.
Automatic previews and link conversions from bot accounts were
treated as platform setting. The human act of running self-repairing
placement bots, explicitly described in dfr4ype, was
retained as conduct. The supplied archive is complete as served, but its
header is not independent proof of historical collection completeness,
and off-platform discussions remain visible only through what
participants brought back.

Arranging work without commanding every contributor
Target length: under 1,700 words.
Structure and process
Participants in r/czech arranged shared work through calls, disputed
specifications and conditional neighbour commitments. The case shows
public organizing without establishing a single organization controlling
every placer. A visible Czech flag attracted participation: r/czech,
YjelzzlIbjdgrAh0Hne+232+3II=, hour 13.788055555555555,
c0004, item dfom7zu, thread
62nvbl says, "I saw the flag and as a half Czech American,
I'm joining in." P01 covers recruitment and routing. Its
range includes joining and posting directions, with uptake and effective
placement separate. National affiliation helped this speaker identify
work worth joining; it did not settle the goal for everyone.
The higher structure distinguishes making contributions available
(T4-001) from choosing the work (T4-002).
Together they form D01, Aligning available contributions
with a disputed object. Manual volunteers, channels and reported bots
vary within availability. Geometry, additions, erasure and shared roads
vary within object choice. These practices answer different questions:
having hands does not specify what they should make. r/czech,
SIIeU33NOAVvq2E4HmPyDyo6kU4=, hour 24.83416666666667,
c0016, item dfp42hw, thread
62nvbl says, "The problem is we're uncoordinated; some want
to recolor the light grey to the correct white, the right border isn't
clear, etc." P02 covers contested specification, not
achieved agreement. In the road episode E-05,
K01 preserves the reported difficulty of redirecting the
crowd: r/czech, iMvXOhxM02UNrjtVVpBcBbW+ql8=, hour 50.28638888888889,
c0095, item dfqi83n, thread
62z23h says, "getting everyone to suddenly follow a new
plan is near impossible". Plans and willingness therefore coexist with
limits to revision. No arrow establishes that greater plan precision
improved repair.
T4-003, Securing help and room without commanding
neighbours, gathers bargaining over contributions and restraint. Its
variation includes reciprocal appeals, unconditional aid, refusal and
failed protection. In E-03, the mushroom dispute leads to
personal restraint (P03): r/czech,
YjelzzlIbjdgrAh0Hne+232+3II=, hour 45.604166666666664,
c0103, item dfq6pqx, thread
62zd7d says, "I won't encroach on your stuff anymore. My
apologies." The later gameboy appeal explicitly recalls the cessation.
r/czech, Igb+3px/yG8WiUCDjVnQhe0n/To=, hour 47.629444444444445,
c0127, item dfqb03m, thread
6309rl says, "It would be nice if you could give us a hand
since we were nice to you (and stopped fighting)." A01
retains the speaker's stated ground for P04, asking for
aid. The episode connects restraint item dfq7ps3 in thread
62zd7d to appeal item dfqb03m in thread
6309rl. This supports an invocation relation, without
turning pressured relocation into freely chosen agreement.
Promises (P05) follow that appeal. r/czech,
fqxABR/xdTx/2QZqKo/DMhHt9AA=, hour 48.50972222222222,
c0128, item dfqdb27, thread
6309rl says, "I will help build/defend the gameboy!"
r/czech, Igb+3px/yG8WiUCDjVnQhe0n/To=, hour 49.111111111111114,
c0129, item dfqexh6, thread
6309rl says, "we will help defend czech flag also".
A04 retains the dated order from dfqb03m to
dfqdb27 and dfqexh6. It supplies no cause for
the respondents' choices. Texas offers a contrast: c0197
makes aid conditional on noticing need and the Czech flag being in good
order; c0168 later reports disappearing pixels. The appeal
and the result are different claims. Mindcrack's ineffective defense
likewise limits any account of pacts ensuring protection.
Dutch relationships remain contested during this work.
P06 records separating organized allies from hostile
individuals. In c0294, SUfQJWFfvXMleZ6O6U7PIMgofKU= at hour
52.468333333333334, item dfqo8j5, thread
630t6f, acknowledges would-be annexers while promising
prevention. This attribution allows a speaker to claim an ally despite
hostile acts. Its effect on attacks is unestablished. A phase story in
which the community moves from aggression to cooperation would mistake
contrasting speakers for a collective change of mind. Unequal control
remains a rival explanation of accommodation.
The outline E-11 shows why willing help is insufficient.
K02 names reported scripted occupation; P09
names the too-late assessment. r/czech, d6sLGKDlNoeW5HyhAG/OowgvRUI=,
hour 69.13305555555556, c0220, item dfroexe,
thread 635mnw says, "Well, it's too late now. The void
(4chan scripters) has been overtaken by orange (Dutch scripters)."
A02 preserves this stated reason. In E-10,
c0211 instead proposes changing bots and beginning on the
Czech part. No observed adoption verifies that workaround, but its
proposal limits a general scripts-stop-redesign claim. For Pilsner
E-12, the accepted objection K03 supplies a
different local reason for withdrawal: r/czech,
byY0tJ4qb5hW2qJdzzG6ePIz2IA=, hour 66.62083333333334,
c0223, item dfrk2ft, thread
635q9n says, "Dutchies have asked us to abandon this plan,
please do not follow it!!!" That is A03. The refused move
in c0236 prevents treating every Dutch request as a
command. Local acceptance, crowd control and perceived feasibility vary;
this record does not measure their effects.
T4-004, Recognizing contributions and making an ending,
gathers credit and retrospective assessment. It includes gratitude
during work and documentation after it. D02, Keeping
neighbour commitments answerable, joins this assessment to the requests
in T4-003: answerable means publicly claimable and
assessable, not enforceable. P07 preserves qualified thanks
in c0265 and explicit closure in c0275.
Documentation is the least certain member of this bundle; it need not
assess a neighbour. The critic's alternative, separating thanks and
combining endings with restart, remains defensible. I retain the
practice distinction between assessing completed work and soliciting
another undertaking. The dimension is arguable and carries no causal
link from thanks to renewed contribution.
Placement on the original site stopped at hour 73. The final original
coordinating code is c0274 at hour 72.44916666666667. A
replacement invitation (P08) follows at hour 82.45.
T4-005, Testing whether the event can be started again,
remains outside the dimensions: replacing the work site reopens whether
to undertake the work at all. In E-16, invitation item
63bg75 and completed-work item dftj5z3, both
in thread 63bg75, bracket a disputed attempt. r/czech,
DqsHUNg+c27ot53ATVDk+7K8QiU=, hour 91.49888888888889,
c0291, item dft7dpn, thread
63bg75 says, "Doing it again just seems pointless, just
like trying to redo r/thebutton". The inviter's later c0292
reports a painted flag at hour 95.99833333333333. That report is later
observation, not later coordination or evidence that the earlier group
transferred.
No complete dated feedback loop is established. Renewed repair talk
cannot supply missing links from damage through agreed revision and
effective repair back to another attack. The source does report retained
original work: 4rZvZ+JgOLHOqoMzq5CD0/Amihg=, hour 73.88555555555556,
item dfs2aa0, thread 638c1g, says "Luckily not
yours though!" after 8WgqStU4SfAILMY2/ahzp/4q+N0= reports Dutch
territorial growth in dfs1v2u. This is disclosed uncoded
context anchored by c0276, whose short span only calls the
picture old. The analyst inspected no image. It warrants an attributed
kept judgment, without showing which acts caused retention.
Propositions and their limits
N01 carries A01: an explicit recollection
of restraint supplies grounds for this appeal because the speaker
invokes it. The claim rests on words, at process level, not a
dimension-wide mechanism. A source correction showing no such invocation
would defeat it; an unrelated later request falls outside it. Failed
protection limits the broader reciprocity conjecture, not this
stated-ground relation.
N02 carries A02: the outline speaker treats
occupied intended space as grounds for a too-late assessment. This words
claim preserves an attributed reason, with no unavoidable effect of
scripts. An adopted workaround and continuing outline instructions in
the same discussion would defeat the stopping account. The separate
bot-change proposal bounds transfer to other projects.
N03 carries A03: the Pilsner proposer
adopts the reported objection as grounds for abandonment. This words
claim concerns local acceptance, not Dutch authority over the group.
Continued direction of the same redesign while rejecting that objection
would defeat it. Refused relocation is the strongest contrary comparison
to general command.
N04 carries the thin order A04. The request
names the task; dated commitments follow. Its warrant is the
clock-ordered pattern in this episode, without an estimate of how often
appeals receive answers. A reversed date or unrelated task would defeat
the order. Off-platform coordination may explain why the commitments
occurred. None of these propositions is wholly theorised or supplied by
literature; none generalizes to all episodes.
Reach and uncertainty
The account reaches public arranging, reported constraints and
attributed completion. It leaves model-level residues in
E-01 (plan effects), E-02 (target motives),
E-04 (Armenian relocation), E-06 (reassurance
effects), E-09 (partner selectivity), E-13
(conflicting attack reports), E-17 (opaque summons) and
E-18 (unanswered target call). t11 preserves
confused readers and t14 heterogeneous taunts; neither
establishes one shared organizing practice. The military register and
short assent remain turn-level findings outside the topic
arithmetic.
Public volunteer work under contested control is the relevant condition for transfer. In an enforceable hierarchy with a fixed specification, the distinction between available contributions and contested work may add little; personal appeals need not allocate tasks. Where intended space or scripts can be changed, the outline assessment need not recur. These are testable limits, not observed cross-case results. No outcome comparison establishes what keeps artwork alive.
The prior correctly anticipated the means/object distinction and divided ending; its expected effects of plans and rogue distinctions remain ungrounded. Puranam's verified mapping clarifies proposed arrangements versus their value. Information, division and allocation receive partial matches; recognition and restart remain unmatched as whole themes. Enjoyment is compatible with intrinsic reward, so unresolved reward provision cannot mean absent inducements. Unseen Discord arrangements, missing bodies and coder selection limit those conclusions. Every absence here is weak.

Dynamic model after critic corrections, pass 2
Target length: under 3,500 words.
Claim and puzzle
Participants organized through repeated calls, specifications and negotiated commitments, while control over placers and space remained divided. Their work had a recognizable object without a settled specification. The strongest local connections concern speakers' stated reasons for appeals and withdrawal. The public record supports a bounded process account; it does not establish that a unified Czech organization directed every participant or that pacts kept every artwork alive.
The puzzle is how help and joint pictures remain possible while
participants cannot bind their own crowd or trust a neighbour's every
member. P01 and P02 distinguish assembling
contributions from settling a design. K01 preserves the
inability to redirect a dispersed crowd. A request to spare neighbouring
work can become personal restraint (P03), later explicitly
invoked to seek aid (P04). The gameboy speaker names this
connection in c0127, rather than leaving the analyst to
infer it from adjacency [A01]. Promises follow
(P05), with their visible order retained separately
[A04]. No quoted promise proves execution or durable
protection.
Neighbour relations are not a stage after aggression. Diplomatic
assurance and annexation calls overlap; a later offer to move the Czech
flag is called greedy. P06 records speakers separating
organized partners from rogues, without crediting this distinction with
ending attacks. Texas, the T artist and Mindcrack expose different
constraints: conditional aid, an immovable crowd and ineffective
defense. Those are limits on a simple cooperation story, not exceptions
removed from the account.
Two instances show proposals stopping or being withdrawn. The outline
speaker names scripted occupation (K02) as the reason it is
too late (P09) [A02]. Pat and Mat's speakers
discuss changing bots, so automated occupation is not itself a
sufficient stopping condition. The Pilsner proposer names a Dutch
request (K03) while telling others to abandon the redesign
(P09) [A03]. This is accepted local influence;
a refused relocation demand elsewhere prevents the stronger claim that
any neighbour request commands compliance.
What was left behind also has limits. P07 marks
completion and credit, including qualified thanks to difficult
neighbours. P08 attempts another canvas after the original
clock ends. The later painted flag does not establish transfer of the
prior group. The replacement is the odd episode the model must narrate:
repeating a mark and arranging shared work again are different
achievements. It needs no causal arrow from gratitude to restart. The
model relates presences and attributed sequences, not amounts; no
coder-stated covariation warrants degree-to-degree arrows.
Elements and their ranges
Each line below gives its tier, dimension and range. The JSONL holds evidence and status. Removing any retained process would lose recruitment, specification, re-opening negotiation, attributed constraint, recognition or a continuation contrast. No role or separate claim element is needed: a diplomat is a speaker's claimed position, and an additional claim box would repeat the prose.
P01: Recruiting people and routing repair contributions.
Tier T4-001; dimension D01. Range: Calls,
joining statements and posting directions in the original live
undertaking; not proof of effective placement. Evidence:
c0002, c0004, c0255.
P02: Specifying and disputing what contributors should
make. Tier T4-002; dimension D01. Range: Flag
geometry, additions and shared work, including plans that remain
disputed. Evidence: c0013, c0016,
c0095.
P03: Stopping one's own fighting or encroachment. Tier
T4-003; dimension D02. Range: Explicit speaker
restraint; never a promise binding every placer. Evidence:
c0103, c0104.
P04: Invoking earlier restraint or help to ask for aid.
Tier T4-003; dimension D02. Range: A speaker
explicitly connects an appeal with an earlier contribution or cessation;
no assumption of equal exchange. Evidence: c0127,
c0156.
P05: Promising contribution and reciprocal defense. Tier
T4-003; dimension D02. Range: Promises or
reports of aid; execution and lasting protection remain separate
outcomes. Evidence: c0128, c0129,
c0197.
P06: Separating organized allies from hostile
individuals. Tier T4-003; dimension D02.
Range: An attribution practice in pact talk; its effect on other
participants is unobserved. Evidence: c0294,
c0229, c0238.
P07: Crediting contributions and marking completed work.
Tier T4-004; dimension D02. Range: Public
recognition and ending accounts, not continuing coordination or a reward
effect. Evidence: c0275, c0265.
P08: Recruiting another flag on a replacement site. Tier
T4-005; no dimension. Range: One replacement episode with
skeptical replies and an inviter's result; collective transfer is
unknown. Evidence: c0288, c0291,
c0292.
P09: Withdrawing or declaring a proposal too late. Tier
T4-002; dimension D01. Range: Explicit
directives or assessments about a particular proposal; not proof that
all off-thread attempts ceased. Evidence: c0223,
c0220.
K01: Contributors cannot readily redirect everyone
following a plan. Tier T4-001; dimension D01.
Range: Participants' accounts of crowd coordination, not a measured
capacity or absence of all authority. Evidence: c0095,
c0118.
K02: Scripts are reported to occupy or restore the
intended space. Tier T4-001; dimension D01.
Range: Attributed automated control; whether scripts can be changed
varies by project. Evidence: c0220, c0209,
c0210.
K03: A neighbour objects to the proposed change. Tier
T4-003; dimension D02. Range: Reported
objection accepted as grounds in the Pilsner proposal; contested
requests elsewhere need not bind anyone. Evidence:
c0223.
Arrow apparatus
All arrows run between named elements within this room. They do not assert relations between dimensions. Each uses verbatim bottom-tier support; no interval is calculated from prose or undated edits. The support quotes state a connection or show dated order. No support-transition field supplies an invented measurement. Full fields, sample decisions, failure tests and counterexample responses are in model/arrows.jsonl.
A01, P03 to P04: transition;
strength fair; grounding codes-read. The appealing speaker uses earlier
cessation of fighting as a stated reason to request help.
Failure test: The speaker's request lacks or rejects any link to the earlier restraint; the mere later occurrence of a request would not suffice.
Bound: A link in the speaker's stated grounds for an appeal, not a general claim that restraint produces effective aid.
Negative check: tested-absent in the complete gameboy source. No speaker repudiation of the invoked restraint is observed there. Failed protection concerns a broader success conjecture, not the retained appeal-ground relation. External samples do not independently test this precise relation.

A02, K02 to P09: transition;
strength fair; grounding codes-read. A participant treats scripted
occupation of the intended space as making the outline proposal too
late.
Failure test: The same outline discussion supplies an adopted workaround and proceeds under the reported scripted occupation.
Bound: Reported infeasibility when the proposal's intended space is treated as unavailable; scripts alone do not require withdrawal.
Negative check: tested-absent in the complete outline source. No adopted workaround and continuation appears in that discussion; this absence is weak beyond it. Bot-change proposals in another project limit a broader automation conjecture without demonstrating this local mechanism's failure.

Dimension projection and mass
The edge inventory, with or without duplicate placements, is
identical because there are no extra coder-theme placements. In
D01, A02 is internal and A03
enters from D02; no retained edge leaves D01.
In D02, A01 and A04 are internal
and A03 leaves for D01; no retained edge
enters D02. This is the complete unweighted in/out/internal
edge mass stated as ID lists, not an empirical prevalence count.
P08 remains outside dimensions. The asymmetry describes the
selected graph; it is not evidence that the dimensions themselves cause
drift, nor that a no-incoming dimension is an exogenous cause.
The mechanisms do not abstract into a single dimension-level
dependence. Both an objection and a scripting assessment can constrain a
proposal, but their actors and alternatives differ. Therefore
D02 to D01 is edge mass only, not a dimension
arrow. The arguable recognition member of D02 adds no
demonstrated dynamic link.
ungrounded relationships
I expected plan specificity to improve repair, routing to improve
coordination, rogue distinctions to preserve pacts, and recognition to
encourage continuing contributions. This record supplies plans,
channels, distinctions and thanks, but no sufficient linked instance of
those effects. These remain undrawn conjectures, not new arrow IDs
disguised as evidence. No frequency correlation or base-rate comparison
makes them grounded. With these conjectures, a speculative account would
connect P02 to P01, P06 to
P05 and P07 to P08. Without them,
the retained model consists only of A01, A02,
A03 and the thin order A04. The claims of
successful collective coordination and transfer do not survive removing
the conjectures.
looked-for-and-not-found
The full selected episode threads contain requests, promises and
reports but do not establish common authority over the crowd, verified
bot performance, or a shared replacement roster. This is weak absence in
an archived and partly removed record. Unseen Discord coordination could
change the explanation. The source for c0095 explicitly
says a new plan cannot reach every placer; it does not prove no
authority existed anywhere. c0279 records one confused
speaker, not a population of uninformed readers.
No whole dated causal cycle runs from damage through recruitment, agreed redesign and successful repair back to a new attack. The loop file is empty. Repeated repair talk alone cannot close a loop, and a graph cycle would not supply the missing events. Original placement closure at hour 73 is irreversible for that site. Later documents and another site's painting are not live repairs on the old one.
The retained arrows are fair or thin, so no strong-arrow
live/aftermath total is asserted. Their cited support is live and
pre-73; there is no direct instance of these relations in the
replacement conversation. The absence of such an instance there is not
evidence that reciprocal aid could not occur on replacement sites. The
original last coordinating code remains c0274 at instrument
hour 72.44916666666667; the full-case last observed coordinating code is
c0288 at 82.45. Existing aftermath receipt 1333 counts
distinct coded items strictly after hour 73; the ending cannot be
inferred from the later completed flag.
Alternatives, counterexamples and coder selection
The strongest rival is accommodation under unequal control.
c0223, c0095 and the smaller group's inability
to win support it. Yet refusal in c0236, reciprocal
commitments in c0129 and participants' proposed bot changes
in c0211 prevent reducing all talk to obedience. The model
retains both local influence and the inability to compel. A simple
harmony model fails on failed aid and hostile overlap; a simple
domination model fails to explain refusal and negotiated mutual
support.
For A01, coder selection could foreground an explicit
reciprocal phrase while omitting unsuccessful appeals. The full gameboy
thread verifies that the speaker recalls the dispute; the Texas contrast
includes conditional and ineffective aid. That separates an invocation
claim from an artifact of coding only successes, without measuring its
prevalence.
For A02, the coder may have selected a vivid too-late
line and missed continuing outline work. The full outline thread
supplies no workaround, weak absence only. Pat and Mat's explicit
proposal to change bots is a stronger contrary item than silence; it
narrows the mechanism to the outline assessment rather than all
scripts.
For A03, a coded withdrawal can overstate a neighbour's
authority. The whole Pilsner thread confirms the proposer's directive
and records dissent about its meaning. The refused relocation thread
shows the same national label does not bind every requester. The
difference is a locally accepted objection; stronger consent or command
claims remain unsupported.
The contextual coder themes t11 (explaining r/place to
people arriving late) and t14 (taunting and insulting
across borders) do not enter a higher-tier membership. Their confusion
and hostile attribution limit the account, and P06 keeps a
related but separately coded attribution practice. No theme is recoded
to make it fit. The actual source text remains the test.
Independent disagreement and test reach
The critic's errors corrected sample labels and failure flags, not
the quoted grounds or ordering. The external contrasts challenge broader
claims about successful repayment, unavoidable scripted defeat and
neighbour command. They are not independent falsifications of the narrow
reasons retained in A01, A02 and
A03. Local falsifiers were sought in the complete source
discussions and not observed; that weak absence gives no population
assurance. The model explains what speakers give as grounds for these
particular acts. Transfer to other episodes remains uncertain.
The rival partition groups access with late explanation, legitimacy
with target choice and taunting, aid with shared roads, and endings with
replacement attempts; it also separates thanks from documentation. The
retained grouping instead distinguishes making work available, choosing
its object, negotiating another group's contribution, assessing
completed work and trying another undertaking. Late confusion and
taunting remain contextual challenges. Recognition and documentation
share public assessment rather than a presumed reward effect.
D02 remains arguable at that edge; its inclusion supplies
no demonstrated causal link. The rival shows that higher grouping is not
unique, and the paired reasons in notes-R4.md remain part of this
interpretation.

The rows come from the final unchanged tiers. Selection covers every coder theme and adds contrasts within specification, conditional aid, automated persistence, recognition/documentation and restart. This is purposive range, not a probability sample or a frequency measure. Every quotation is a complete cited code span; it supports the act, proposal or report in its own words. No short label substitutes for a quotation. Names are coined and provisional: J moved their optional naming before R1; IDs, coded labels and membership remain unchanged. The pact-maintenance and persistence names do not certify a causal effect.

Residue and limits
t11, explaining r/place to people arriving late,
preserves uneven understanding. The c0279 row shows one

prove that the speaker could not contribute. t14, taunting

personal mockery. The c0240 row distinguishes Dutch people
from a person while insulting that person; it does not demonstrate that
insults maintain pacts. Neither theme receives a residual higher
category merely to absorb it.
T4-005 has no dimension. Its c0288,

undertaking, with invitation, refusal and a reported object. They cannot
establish transfer of the working group. No second higher theme supplies
a common portability question. This grouping residue differs from the
literature remainder: T4-004 and T4-005 have
no whole-theme universal-problem match, as mapping-C3.jsonl
explains.
D02 remains arguable because documentation at the edge
of T4-004 need not assess neighbour commitments. The
c0267 row makes that weak edge inspectable. Its information
is retrospective, so the table supplies no arrow from documentation or
thanks to renewed work. The table preserves whole-theme placement: an
incidental code inside a bundle need not satisfy every part of the
higher theme. The displayed exemplars establish the specific coded
practice or reported limit, not success of a complete organization.

Source-bound dynamic model
Target length: under 900 words.
Specification
Draw every element from model/elements.jsonl with its ID, statement
and range: processes P01, P02,
P03, P04, P05, P06,
P07, P08, P09; conditions
K01, K02, K03. D01
and D02 supply structural bindings in the table; they are
not additional graph nodes. P08 has no dimension. Keep
unlinked elements visible; proximity supplies no relation. Original
placement ends at hour 73, an imposed boundary rather than an inferred
outcome. P08 concerns another site.
Draw these and only these arrows:
P03toP04,A01,N01: fair transition, speaker-stated grounds, codec0127. Jupiter explicitly invokes stopped fighting while asking for gameboy help. The prior restraint is inc0104; the later appeal is itemdfqb03m, thread6309rl. This is invocation, not guaranteed repayment.K02toP09,A02,N02: fair transition, attributed feasibility assessment, codec0220, itemdfroexe, thread635mnw. Occupied intended space is the speaker's reason for calling the outline too late.K03toP09,A03,N03: fair transition, reported accepted objection, codec0223, itemdfrk2ft, thread635q9n. The proposer invokes a neighbour request while directing abandonment.P04toP05,A04,N04: thin dated order, codesc0127,c0128,c0129, itemsdfqb03m,dfqdb27,dfqexh6, thread6309rl. The appeal precedes commitments. No interval or causal effect is added.
Each arrow has a quoted instance, not a measured transition interval. Full verbatim strings and metadata remain in arrows.jsonl, account.md and the citation receipts. No community prevalence label is warranted in a one-room process model; the apparatus uses local episode instances and counterexamples. No strong arrow exists, so a strong-arrow live/aftermath total is inapplicable.
Reading the display
The process chain contains a middle, invoking earlier restraint, between personal cessation and later commitments. Its second link is order only. The condition-to-withdrawal branches have no measured mediator. The diagram is therefore a bounded process account with unconnected descriptive elements, not a complete causal architecture. There is no dated feedback loop. The generator's with-theorised and observed-only versions should match because no retained arrow is theorised.
The display omits conjectured effects of plans on repair, routing on
coordination, rogue distinctions on pact preservation and gratitude on
renewal. It cannot show which acts kept the artwork alive.
t11 and t14 remain contextual; military
vocabulary, short assent and opaque role claims remain in form_pass.md
outside topic arithmetic. The source-bound render must retain these
limits rather than invite a visual claim of universal command.
Inspected render and required caption
The native image was inspected after source-bound generation. Every source element and arrow/proposition tag is legible and the unconnected elements remain separate. The automated layout does not show dimensions as boxes. It draws every retained edge with the same solid line, so the following caption is part of this figure, not an optional interpretation of the image:
Original placement stopped at hour 73. P08 concerns
another site after that boundary, not continued placement on the
original one. A01, A02 and A03
preserve fair speaker-stated grounds; A04 is thin dated
order only. No line asserts successful protection. Unlinked boxes record
practices or constraints without established relationships. The image
alone does not show the external clock or distinguish edge
strengths.
The room gateway offers source-bound rendering, not layout editing or an external-clock node type. No new element or causal edge was invented to force the clock into the graph. The explicit caption and account carry the terminus, and this limitation must remain visible in any reuse of the PNG. This is a presentation limit, not a change to the model.
Source-bound local model; the clock and edge-strength caption above is required

Claims and their evidence
Target length: under 1,100 words.
The table audits claims against their declared warrant. A resolved quote and a passed check show traceability, not construct validity. The independent R4 critic corrected negative-test labels and failure flags; it did not verify successful coordination. No held-out case, later global model or unseen room supplied validation.

Aftermath count record: {"mode":"aftermath","unit":"items","n":1,"denominator":{"unit":"items","n":20,"of":"All distinct coded items strictly after hour 73 in the supplied record"},"receipt":1333}. Upper observation bound is hour 97; the retained calculation's source IDs govern the denominator.
The structural claims rest on practice gates and contrasting
exemplars in structure.md and data_structure.md, not on their
source-volume totals. The critic's alternative partition prevents
treating the retained grouping as unique. D02 remains
arguable at documentation; T4-005 remains dimensionless.
Confusion and heterogeneous taunts remain contextual, and turn-level
form findings do not enter prevalence arithmetic.
No complete dated loop, common command over all placers, verified bot performance or causal effect on survival is established. These are weak missing-evidence claims in a selected archived public record, with unseen arrangements and missing bodies explicit. There is no count or comparison that turns them into universal negatives. No proposition claims a problem was fully solved; R5's partial mapping cannot supply that warrant.
Proposition warrant declarations
N01: carried_by=words. Its stated-ground claim rests on
the explicit invocation in c0127, checked against the
restraint context; it does not rest on a quantity of episodes.
N02: carried_by=words. Its claim rests on the outline
speaker's stated reason in c0220, not a frequency of
proposals stopped by bots.
N03: carried_by=words. Its claim rests on the proposer's
adopted objection and withdrawal instruction in c0223, not
a count of Dutch commands obeyed.
N04: carried_by=pattern. Its limited pattern is the
dated order of related turns c0127, c0128 and
c0129 in the same gameboy episode. Instrument dates
establish that order; no prevalence or causal effect is inferred.

Higher themes at R3
Target length: under 1,800 words.
These are coined constructs over the unchanged coder themes, not a dynamic model. They travel on exemplars in structure.md. Their source is one room, and none is named from literature. Five themes preserve five questions rather than fill a target shape. The singleton tests event portability; the unpicked material stays unpicked. The stamped cuts are in tier_history.jsonl.
T4-001:
Making hands, channels and repair available
Grounded gloss: Recruiting people, directing them to coordinating spaces and arranging repeated repair.
The shared practice is making a contribution available to ongoing work: a person joins, a venue gathers requests, or a script repeats placements. These are different means of availability, not interchangeable tasks. A channel invitation does not show uptake, and an automated hold can obstruct a new plan.
Members: t01, t09, t10.
Question: How can scattered contributors become reachable and keep
contributing without one task allocator?
Variation: Self-selected manual help to moderator-directed posting and automatic repair; offered to reported action.
Least sure member: t10. Bots make repair available
without present hands, but they are not people assembled in a venue.
Retain them as a distinct means of persistence, not as proof of a shared
authority.
Near case outside: c0013 specifies a slope but supplies
neither hands nor access.
Evidence: c0002, c0004, c0072,
c0255, c0196; exact words, source attribution,
gate and disconfirmation appear in structure.md and the JSONL. Dimension
D01.
T4-002:
Choosing a workable common mark
Grounded gloss: Arguing over the shape, extent, additions and shared objects that people should make.
Participants turn a recognizable flag into contested instructions about what to place, keep, remove or connect. Technical correctness, recognizable pictures, hostile targets and a shared road all specify the object of work. They vary in precision and legitimacy; holding them together does not imply that a common decision followed.
Members: t02, t03, t04,
t08. Question: How does wanting a flag become a disputed
but actionable object rather than a settled goal assumed in advance?
Variation: Pixel geometry to symbolic additions and erasure; a national object to a road connecting flags; workable consensus to competing proposals.
Least sure member: t08. A shared road could be read
primarily as neighbour cooperation. Its placement here preserves the
concrete connection being designed and repaired; reciprocal promises
remain in T4-003.
Near case outside: c0197 offers conditional aid without
deciding the mark to make.
Evidence: c0013, c0036, c0122,
c0095, c0257; exact words, source attribution,
gate and disconfirmation appear in structure.md and the JSONL. Dimension
D01.
T4-003:
Securing help and room without commanding neighbours
Grounded gloss: Requesting aid, bargaining over space and testing whether pacts bind participants.
Participants seek another group's contribution or restraint because they cannot simply order it. Requests invoke past help, spatial claims, apology or a reported agreement. Promises, refusal, failed moves and the distinction between organized allies and rogues expose different limits to what a neighbour can deliver. Cooperation and constrained accommodation remain competing readings within the theme.
Members: t05, t06, t07.
Question: How is joint work pursued when participants cannot bind all of
their own side, much less a neighbour?
Variation: Small artworks to a powerful neighbour; reciprocal help to refusal; promises to failed aid; pact claims to distrust and rogue distinctions.
Least sure member: t05. Aid need not include explicit
bargaining or a return. Retain it because even unconditional aid
requires another group's voluntary contribution; do not infer
reciprocity from every request.
Near case outside: c0265 recognizes neighbours after
work rather than arranging their next act.
Evidence: c0127, c0197, c0103,
c0178, c0294; exact words, source attribution,
gate and disconfirmation appear in structure.md and the JSONL. Dimension
D02.
T4-004:
Recognizing contributions and making an ending
Grounded gloss: Thanking others, documenting results and assessing the event as completed work.
Speakers make work attributable and assessable through thanks, praise, corrections to its record and explicit closure. Recognition can occur during work as well as after the event. It can acknowledge difficult relations without claiming that everyone agreed or that recognition renewed participation.
Members: t12, t15. Question: What remains
publicly shareable when the acts of placing pixels are no longer the
present task?
Variation: Thanks during construction to post-event alliance praise; documentary correction to personal enjoyment.
Least sure member: t15. A timelapse link can be
documentation without social recognition. Keep it as making a common
ending inspectable in text, without claiming the linked image verifies
any outcome.
Near case outside: c0288 requests a new undertaking
instead of recounting the old.
Evidence: c0025, c0265, c0286,
c0275, c0267; exact words, source attribution,
gate and disconfirmation appear in structure.md and the JSONL. Dimension
D02.
T4-005:
Testing whether the event can be started again
Grounded gloss: Offering replacement canvases, recruiting another flag and disputing repetition.
A replacement makes the technical opportunity recur without establishing that the prior group or purpose transfers. The invitation, skeptical refusal and reported painted flag expose the difference between repeating an object and carrying a shared undertaking forward. This is a singleton higher theme because no other coder theme tests that portability.
Members: t13. Question: What is lost when a recurring
technical opportunity is treated as the same social event?
Variation: Sharing a copy to recruiting, rejecting repetition and reporting a completed new flag.
Least sure member: t13. The higher label could merely
rename copies. The contrast between invitation and rejection supplies an
analytical distinction, but the evidence cannot establish a transfer
mechanism.
Near case outside: c0157 offers a venue for the same
event rather than a new canvas.
Evidence: c0201, c0288, c0291,
c0292; exact words, source attribution, gate and
disconfirmation appear in structure.md and the JSONL. No dimension.
Portability across replacement events is not answered by the
means/object distinction or neighbour recognition alone. No second T4
theme supplies a defensible common portability dimension.
Grouping review
The common practice, not topic or adjacency, decides each bundle. Do
not merge military talk, shared art or neighbour praise merely because
words overlap. The rejected alternatives in structure.md include a
single cooperation theme, internal/external work, an isolated bot theme,
a war-to-friendship phase partition and absorbing restart into
recruitment. The most consequential remaining uncertainty is
t15 with t12: documentation shares public
assessment of work but is not necessarily recognition of neighbours.
This limits the arguable D02, not the evidence of late
thanks itself.
D01 gathers T4-001 and T4-002;
D02 gathers T4-003 and T4-004.
The first distinguishes available means from specified objects. The
second distinguishes sought commitments from credited contributions
without assuming that gratitude enforces a pact. Neither establishes a
causal relation. T4-005 remains outside both.
What no higher theme picked up
t11, explaining r/place to people arriving late: uneven
understanding is a limit on shared knowledge, not by itself work
coordination or credit. t14, taunting and insulting across
borders: heterogeneous provocations and attribution cannot be lifted as
a single organizing practice. Their code coverage is recorded through
receipt 2489 in structure.md, with excerpts c0279,
c0170 and c0240. The contextual material can
still challenge a later model. It is not renamed as a catch-all.
out/structure.md
R3 structure
Target length: under 9,000 words, including attributed excerpts.
Basis and scope
This structure is static. It proposes no arrow or causal loop. It preserves every coded label and membership and uses optional theory names only as prior prompts, not decisions. All constructs here are coined, with no borrowed literature and no claim to originality. The source is one room. Model pass is 0, a pre-model structure marker; no R4 pass exists. The requested runtime remains GPT-6.1 Sol medium; exact runtime binding belongs to the controller rather than this gateway.
The full-code sweeps are in form_pass.md. Their turn-unit findings
prompt distinctions here: FP-01 separates visible assent
from a specified task; FP-02 prevents military vocabulary
deciding a grouping; FP-03 limits assumed authority;
FP-04 limits assumed shared understanding. They are not
tier members, gates or arithmetic. No count claims how often a practice
occurs. Each grouping travels on exemplars. Reading coverage is 295/295
closed codes (receipt 2486), hours 0 through 97 inclusive, with no
endpoint codes.
{"mode":"coverage","unit":"codes","n":295,"denominator":{"unit":"codes","n":295,"of":"All

The coding supplies descriptive themes rather than an independent gate instrument. Below, their immutable notes state their boundaries; the quoted placement gate is the new T4 gate, not a retroactively invented coder gate. No coder-conflict packet exists in this room stage. Therefore there are no imported coder disagreements or fabricated paired coder words. The alternative readings below are my comparisons. Every coder theme has one assignment or contextual status, without splitting or multiple placement. There is no onset comparison across rooms in a one-room record.
Coder-theme boundaries and exemplars

Coded description:
These codes all recruit, join, repair or defend the Czech work; they vary from first calls and late arrivals to alarms, refresh instructions and direct hands-on repair.

An act joins or requests hands rather than offers a venue. A repair call
is not proof of repair.
Best placement is T4-001. Its placement gate is:
The material recruits, routes or equips contributions to ongoing collective work, including automated repair and its constraints.
This is not a universal claim about every short code in the bundle. Incidental forms stay visible without duplicating the whole theme.
This theme travels on exemplars, not a three-part prevalence count. The quotes below range over the practice and a limit; a short or deictic span carries only what its words say.

new symbolic motif. Pixel precision varies from exact slope to vague
correctness.

Nearest coder theme: t07. Separating test and variation:
Requesting or promising aid differs from testing a standing pact. A
return can be explicit or absent; neither promise nor reported pixel

Higher themes
The themes answer five distinct questions. Joining resources, deciding the object, negotiating dependence, recognizing contributions and testing repetition cannot replace one another. The singleton restart theme remains because it exposes portability as a question not answered elsewhere, not because every coder theme must be lifted. The full practice story is in fourth/fourth.md; the gates and exemplars here make the cuts checkable.
T4-001:
Making hands, channels and repair available
Declaration: coined, source empty. Gloss: Recruiting people, directing them to coordinating spaces and arranging repeated repair.
The shared practice is making a contribution available to ongoing work: a person joins, a venue gathers requests, or a script repeats placements. These are different means of availability, not interchangeable tasks. A channel invitation does not show uptake, and an automated hold can obstruct a new plan.
Question: How can scattered contributors become reachable and keep contributing without one task allocator?
Members: t01, t09, t10. What
varies: Self-selected manual help to moderator-directed posting and
automatic repair; offered to reported action.
Gate condition:
The material recruits, routes or equips contributions to ongoing collective work, including automated repair and its constraints.
Discriminator: Availability and access to contributions, rather than the content of the design or permission from a neighbour.
Not this theme: A plan specification alone, a pact alone, or a completed-work report.
When both seem possible: Place means of participation here; place decisions about the work's shape in T4-002 and bargaining over another group's actions in T4-003.
The gate is one practice, not a required two-part move. Near case
outside: c0013 specifies a slope but supplies neither hands
nor access.
Least sure member: t10. Bots make repair available
without present hands, but they are not people assembled in a venue.
Retain them as a distinct means of persistence, not as proof of a shared
authority.
Exemplars chosen for breadth and depth across t01,

invented. Each quote below meets the gate on its own words, as a

T4-002:
Choosing a workable common mark
Declaration: coined, source empty. Gloss: Arguing over the shape, extent, additions and shared objects that people should make.
Participants turn a recognizable flag into contested instructions about what to place, keep, remove or connect. Technical correctness, recognizable pictures, hostile targets and a shared road all specify the object of work. They vary in precision and legitimacy; holding them together does not imply that a common decision followed.
Question: How does wanting a flag become a disputed but actionable object rather than a settled goal assumed in advance?
Members: t02, t03, t04,
t08. What varies: Pixel geometry to symbolic additions and
erasure; a national object to a road connecting flags; workable
consensus to competing proposals.
Gate condition:
The material specifies, proposes, rejects or revises the content or extent of a common canvas undertaking.
Discriminator: What the undertaking should be, rather than supplying contributors or obtaining another group's accommodation.
Not this theme: Any use of national imagery, any insult, or a neighbour pact without a work specification.
When both seem possible: Use this gate for the proposed object or its constraints; use T4-003 for the practice of bargaining with another group. The closed theme stays whole at its best explanatory gate.
The gate is one practice, not a required two-part move. Near case
outside: c0197 offers conditional aid without deciding the
mark to make.
Least sure member: t08. A shared road could be read
primarily as neighbour cooperation. Its placement here preserves the
concrete connection being designed and repaired; reciprocal promises
remain in T4-003.

T4-003:
Securing help and room without commanding neighbours
Declaration: coined, source empty. Gloss: Requesting aid, bargaining over space and testing whether pacts bind participants.
Question: How is joint work pursued when participants cannot bind all of their own side, much less a neighbour?
Members: t05, t06, t07. What
varies: Small artworks to a powerful neighbour; reciprocal help to
refusal; promises to failed aid; pact claims to distrust and rogue
distinctions.
Gate condition:
The material requests, bargains for, promises, refuses or tests help, room or restraint across groups.
Discriminator: Negotiating another group's conduct or commitment, not merely deciding one's own proposed drawing.
Not this theme: Friendship vocabulary alone, a national taunt alone, or a retrospective thank-you with no live request.
When both seem possible: Place cross-group negotiation here, even if it concerns a drawing. Place the drawing's specification in T4-002 when that is the coded theme's central practice; do not duplicate the entire theme for incidental overlap.
The gate is one practice, not a required two-part move. Near case
outside: c0265 recognizes neighbours after work rather than
arranging their next act.
Least sure member: t05. Aid need not include explicit
bargaining or a return. Retain it because even unconditional aid
requires another group's voluntary contribution; do not infer
reciprocity from every request.

Recognizing contributions and making an ending
Declaration: coined, source empty. Gloss: Thanking others, documenting results and assessing the event as completed work.
Speakers make work attributable and assessable through thanks, praise, corrections to its record and explicit closure. Recognition can occur during work as well as after the event. It can acknowledge difficult relations without claiming that everyone agreed or that recognition renewed participation.
Question: What remains publicly shareable when the acts of placing pixels are no longer the present task?
Members: t12, t15. What varies: Thanks
during construction to post-event alliance praise; documentary
correction to personal enjoyment.
Gate condition:
The material acknowledges contributions, assesses results or marks and documents an ending.
Discriminator: Recognition and retrospective assessment, not a prospective arrangement of help or recruitment to repeat the event.

Testing whether the event can be started again
Declaration: coined, source empty. Gloss: Offering replacement canvases, recruiting another flag and disputing repetition.
A replacement makes the technical opportunity recur without establishing that the prior group or purpose transfers. The invitation, skeptical refusal and reported painted flag expose the difference between repeating an object and carrying a shared undertaking forward. This is a singleton higher theme because no other coder theme tests that portability.
Question: What is lost when a recurring technical opportunity is treated as the same social event?
Members: t13. What varies: Sharing a copy to recruiting,
rejecting repetition and reporting a completed new flag.
Gate condition:
The material offers, pursues or disputes making r/place work on a replacement canvas.
Discriminator: A new work site and renewed participation, not another venue coordinating the same live canvas.
Not this theme: Evidence that the community collectively restarted or that original coordination continued.
When both seem possible: Use T4-001 for channels of the same undertaking; use this gate when the work site and prospective undertaking are replaced.

Dimension: none. Portability across replacement events is not answered by the means/object distinction or neighbour recognition alone. No second T4 theme supplies a defensible common portability dimension.
Disconfirmation elsewhere: In another setting, the coded acts could occur without the shared practice described here; linked contrary acts would require recutting rather than assuming this bundle.
Dimensions
D01:
Aligning available contributions with a disputed object
Coined. Gloss: having willing hands is different from settling what
those hands should make. Members are T4-001 and
T4-002. The common question concerns making an undertaking
actionable, while distinguishing its means from its object. That
distinction is unavailable from either member alone: recruits can be
willing while helpers damage the intended wedge, and precise plans can
remain difficult to follow or revise.
Membership predicate and gate: the higher theme must concern making
collective work actionable either by making contributions available or
by specifying what contributors should make. Cross-group commitments as
such are outside. c0197 promises neighbour aid
conditionally and therefore belongs to D02, not to this
dimension merely because aid could add hands.
Least sure member: T4-001 includes automation, which may
persist without the readership. It belongs as a means of available
contribution, but neither bots nor a venue prove one coherent workforce.
Confidence is clear for the means/object distinction, not for their
effects. These cited contrasts supply evidence:

This dimension could later be compared with literature on organizing contributions and defining work; no literature match is claimed now. Disconfirmation elsewhere: Availability and specification may be inseparable under a single authoritative plan; these two practices would not add explanatory separation there.
D02:
Keeping neighbour commitments answerable
Coined. Gloss: people seek help and restraint, then assess who
contributed without settling every dispute. Members are
T4-003 and T4-004. The common question is how
a relation becomes describable as joint work despite unreliable
commitments and an ending. Answerable means open to public claim and
assessment, not enforceable. Bargaining alone does not show what is
later credited, and gratitude alone cannot establish what was negotiated
or delivered.
Membership predicate and gate: the higher theme must concern
requesting or assessing commitments to joint work across participants,
prospectively in bargaining or retrospectively in recognition and ending
accounts. Technical specification and mere access are outside.
c0255 regulates a venue but does not negotiate or assess a
neighbour's contribution.
Least sure member: T4-004. Neighbour gratitude fits
clearly, but documentation and personal enjoyment at its edge need not
hold neighbours answerable. Its inclusion rests on the public accounting
of a jointly credited event, not on treating every ending remark as a
pact. Confidence is arguable; if R4 cannot use that distinction without
stretching documentation, this dimension should narrow or dissolve.
Evidence pairs a request grounded in stopped fighting with a skeptical
question and qualified retrospective thanks:

This dimension could later be placed against literature on reciprocal commitment and recognition; no remembered theoretical name is borrowed here. Disconfirmation elsewhere: Retrospective recognition may concern private achievement unrelated to negotiated dependence; then it would not belong with cross-group commitments.
Pairwise separation in both directions
D01 asks whether contributions and a specified object
are available. It does not answer whether a neighbour's commitment is
credible or later acknowledged; c0013 can specify a slope
without a pact. D02 asks what participants can request and
credit across dependence. It does not answer how to make a workable
wedge or gather a posting venue; c0265 can thank difficult
neighbours without specifying any next placement. Objects can be shared
and recruits can be outsiders, so internal versus external is not the
test. The object/means and commitment/accounting questions are.
T4-005 has no dimension because transferring a completed
undertaking to a replacement is neither just means/object alignment nor
the assessment of existing neighbour commitments.
Alternatives considered and rejected
A single cooperation theme would conflate willing help, failed aid,
coerced moves and retrospective thanks. The T artist's inability to move
a crowd in c0095, fear in c0178 and
abandonment in c0223 prevent success becoming the grouping
rule. Shared military or friendship language does not repair that
problem.
An internal-work/external-relations split was tempting. It fails
because the road specifies a shared object while the flag depends on
outsiders. I keep t08 with object-making and
t05 with negotiated dependence. Moving all shared art to
diplomacy would lose how its actual mark is chosen. Conversely, moving
t07 to channels because it reports Discord would lose the
practice of testing a pact. No extra placements are necessary to retain
those contrasts.
Splitting t10 away from t01 and
t09 would sharpen manual versus scripted persistence, but
would leave availability of contributions less explicit. The current
gate retains that internal variation and scripts' obstruction of
redesign. Splitting t15 away from t12 is the
strongest remaining alternative: documentation is not gratitude. The
common accounting-of-work practice supports retaining the theme
provisionally; it does not establish an effect of recognition. The
associated D02 remains arguable.
Merging the restart theme with recruitment would confuse a new object
with a new communication venue. c0291 contests repeating
the event, while c0292 reports one painted flag. A
singleton retains that difference without inventing shared uptake. A
phase partition into war, cooperation and ending is also rejected:
hostile and cooperative positions overlap, and different speakers do not
establish collective change of mind.
What no higher theme picked up
The unpicked inventory is t11 and t14, from
the full coder-theme register. They carry 11 of the 295 closed codes,
coverage receipt 2489, hours 0 through 97 inclusive; there are no
boundary codes. This is code coverage of the contextual inventory, not
prevalence of confusion or hostility.
{"mode":"coverage","unit":"codes","n":11,"denominator":{"unit":"codes","n":295,"of":"All
closed r/czech codes, hours 0 through 97 inclusive"},"receipt":2489}
t11, explaining r/place to people arriving late:
preserves uneven understanding. It does not by itself supply means of
contribution or account for a completed contribution. t14,
taunting and insulting across borders: preserves attribution,
provocation and mockery without treating them as one organizing
practice. Neither is gathered into a residue theme. A contextual code
can challenge a model later without a higher placement. The examples
below make those limits visible:

The last item distinguishes Dutch people from a particular person but does not alone establish that an insult preserved the pact. The quoted vocabulary supports a possible boundary reading, not a causal mechanism. No new code was made. Every coder theme is defined and either appears in a T4 member list or this unpicked list; every T4 appears in a defined dimension or carries an empty list and reason. No multiple-placement pairs exist; the empty log is deliberate. There is no cross-case onset contrast and no three-class prevalence partition because no such frequency claim is made.

Ordinary: the mushroom
and gameboy, E-03
The surviving conversation begins as a dispute about damage. Jupiter asks the Czech flag builders to leave neighbouring work alone; a Czech participant says the smaller work should not have been built on an existing place. Jupiter answers that the mushroom preceded expansion. A proposed semi-transparent wedge would preserve overlapping work, but the speakers do not report adopting that proposal. YjelzzlIbjdgrAh0Hne+232+3II= later apologizes:

The full source explains that YjelzzlIbjdgrAh0Hne+232+3II= watched a timelapse and could not vouch for anyone else. This is a reported change in one person's understanding and conduct. It cannot establish that the crowd stopped expanding. Jupiter then explicitly stops fighting:

The full thread gives the smaller group's size and inability to win
as reasons to move. The ordinary example of neighbour help therefore
already includes unequal capacity. Repeated relocation fails. In the
repair-call thread, Jupiter states a pause in c0113, after
describing difficulty communicating with rainbowroad. That failure does
not end the visible attempt to make something. A new thread identifies
Jupiter as the mushroom's creator and asks for gameboy help beside the
flag:

The appeal explicitly recalls the end of fighting. It gives the
reader a connection between earlier restraint and the request, rather
than leaving a temporal sequence to imply reciprocity.
fqxABR/xdTx/2QZqKo/DMhHt9AA= then promises to help build and defend in
c0128. Jupiter later promises Czech defense in
c0129. Source replies also report that the gameboy is done,
then discuss defending it. Those reports remain participants'
descriptions; no picture was inspected.
This episode runs from the dispute to a reciprocal commitment, not to verified survival. The dated code hours establish the order of the surviving turns, while an undated edit cannot establish the exact time of a renewed promise. The episode can support an account of invoking restraint to seek help. It does not show that gratitude caused contribution, that the original expansion was consensual, or that one apology bound every placer. Its ordinary character concerns recognizable requests and answers, not a claim that such episodes were most frequent. Full source reads: 3044, 3059 and 3062.

The full source describes unexpectedness and uncertainty about duration as the earlier event's attraction. This is DqsHUNg+c27ot53ATVDk+7K8QiU='s explanation of rejection. It is evidence of one participant's position, not a measured cause of community disengagement. The full reply says the speaker watches the copies and describes a site's user activity. That activity estimate remains the speaker's report, not an instrument count used in this analysis. Painting a whole flag does not show that the prior Czech participants divided work again or that the old neighbour relationships transferred. The speaker could have painted with strangers or alone; neither is established by this span.
This is an unpredicted test of treating a repeated mark as a continuing undertaking. A reader could expect a recognizable flag, a site and an invitation to recover the former activity. The actual thread preserves skeptical replies alongside the inviter's result. It requires a distinction between another opportunity to paint and a group carrying its work forward. The last observed coordination is the invitation, while the episode's last observation is a completed-work report at hour 95.99833333333333. The later report cannot date continued arranging of work. 635mnw:
Well, it's too late now. The void (4chan scripters) has been overtaken by orange (Dutch scripters).
The speaker explicitly connects the too-late judgment to a takeover described in terms of scripting. The inference does not depend solely on putting the helper's earlier promise beside a later disappointment. Yet the claim is limited to what d6sLGKDlNoeW5HyhAG/OowgvRUI= reports: no independent script log or inspected picture verifies who occupied the space or when. The four surviving source items contain no completed-outline report. That is a weak absence in this supplied thread; off-thread work and later outcomes remain unknown.
The proposal ends in the visible record at the too-late assessment. This is the episode boundary under the rule that preserves an explicit stopping assessment. It is not the time when every possible outline effort ceased. A different project, Pat and Mat, later or elsewhere discusses changing bots; that cannot silently supply the missing adaptation here. The outline's own replies show an offer followed by a stated obstacle, without a workaround.
This stopped-early attempt matters because willing hands and a named object are visible together. Their presence is insufficient to establish feasible action. The obstacle concerns control of the intended space, not merely a lack of national interest or an unanswered call. The appropriate explanation must preserve this difference from the gameboy exchange: there, requests and reciprocal commitments continue after failed relocation, whereas here the record supplies a final assessment that the space is already taken. The contrast does not identify which design would have succeeded under other conditions. It places a reported local constraint beside the offered help, retaining uncertainty about execution and survival. Full source read: 3047.
